For those who were disappointed of not seeing any fireworks in the vicinity of SM Mall of Asia this February, I am really sorry. Anyway, I want to make it up to everyone by giving you the updates and changes about it.
The 4th World Pyro Olympics schedule was moved and shall start on the last week of March.
Here’s the new schedule:
March 29 – (still waiting for further announcement)
April 05 – Japan and Australia
April 12 – Korea
April 19 – Italy and Venezuela
April 26 – France and Philippines
According to the official web site of the event, ten countries will be participating yet only the seven listed above are those that have a confirmed schedule. The Philippines, which is the host country, will only be doing an exhibition display and is not really competing.
Each aerial pyrotechnic display shall last for only twenty minutes (20 mins.). The fireworks will be launched by the barges located on the waters of Manila Bay fronting the breakwaters of the Esplanade.
If you got some more inquiries (like tickets, etc.), you can call the organizers, La Mancha Pyro Productions at (632) 817-3073. Or visit their website http://worldpyroolympics.com/.
See you all there.
