On Vacation

So this is why there are no updates…

Many are wondering already why there are no updates in my blog so I feel like I have to at least give even a bit of explanation. Well, the message above says at least one-fourth of it. I’m currently on vacation from blogging in my usual blogs. Yah, I haven’t updated any till now.

I don’t know why but I feel like I don’t have anything to blog into my sites (anne-plugged, joyful thoughts, her maldita-ness’ shelf) yet. So I’m on leave and still searching for some inspiration. (hint: I’m on a new project. I’ll just tell you when it’s done.)

So adieu for now. I gotta go. I got several jobs to keep me busy right now. Plus, I’m on a mission. See below…

The Language of Kissing

Kissing is one body language that can express a lot of things. It could be a very passionate gesture or just a simple sign of respect or acquaintance. Every kind of kiss conveys a meaning. Wanna find out?

What does a kiss on ___ means?

If you think you’re a great kisser, think again. Mastering the French kiss isn’t all you need to know.  I’ve listed below my favorite kinds of kisses, let’s see if you’ve tried or are familiar with most of them.

• Cheek Kiss – A friendly, “I really like you” kiss. Often the preferred kissing method on a first date. With your hands on your partner’s shoulders, softly brush your lips across her cheek.
• Eskimo Kiss – With your faces less than a breath apart, gently rub your noses together.
• Eye Kiss – Hold your partner’s head with both hands and slowly move their head in the direction you wish your kiss to go… then slowly kiss up towards your partner’s eyes and give them a tender kiss on top of their closed eyes.
• Eyelid Kiss – While your partner is resting/sleeping with eyes closed, very very gently kiss the spot right below their browbone. A very intimate kiss.
• Forehead Kiss – The “motherly” kiss or “just friends” kiss. The forehead kiss can be a comforting kiss to anyone. Simply brush your lips lightly across the crown of their head.
• Freeze Kiss (or Melt Kiss) – Experiment with this fun kiss. Put a small piece of ice in your mouth, then open mouth and kiss your partner, passing them the ice with your tongue. It’s an erotic and sensual french kiss with a twist of cold.
• French Kiss – The kiss involving the tongue. Some call this the “Soul Kiss” because the life and soul are thought to pass through the mouth’s breath in the exchange across tongues. Surprisingly, the French call this “The English Kiss”.
• Hand Kiss – Gently raise her hand to your lips. Lightly brush your lips across the top of her hand. Historically this kiss was performed with a bow, which showed deference to a lady.
• Suck Kissing -  This is a looong kiss. You need to pucker your lips and suck gently on her lower lip to tease her or to goad her into kissing you back.
• Nip Kissing -  This is the same as Suck Kissing, but instead of sucking her lower lip, you gently nibble it.
• Shoulder Kiss – Simply come from behind, embrace her, and kiss the top of her shoulder. This is a sensual, loving kiss.
• Stop-and-Kiss - While walking down the street, grab her playfully and abruptly stop. Pull her close, look into her eyes and kiss her long and gently while running your hands through her hair. The kiss must be short and sweet – after all, you ARE out on the street, with people around you!
• Teaser Kiss – Starting on the forehead, a sweet short kiss on lips, then move up the arms up to her hand, kiss her hand, then come back up her arm, to her face and then lightly kiss her lips till she wants a passionate kiss.
• Wake Up Kiss – Before your partner awakes lean over and kiss their cheek and move over giving soft kisses until you reach their lips. Definitely a more than pleasant way to wake up!

An optimist’s view of ONE-SIDED LOVE

What is one-sided love? This situation usually happens when the love is not reciprocated. This kind of love usually springs from your first love, (celebrity) crush or if you’re in an unhappy relationship.

Many singles have experienced this kind of love and if you’ll ask them about it you’ll notice that there’s a common factor in the answers you’ll get – PAIN. So to make the topic on one-sided love a bit lighter, let’s look at its brighter side. Ready?

The Good Points of One-Sided Love

1. It offers you lots of freedom. You can do whatever you want without worrying about the reaction of the other person. After all, you’re not even sure if you do exist in his /her world.

2. It does not hurt anyone. EXCEPT YOURSELF. How could you possibly hurt the person you love if he/she doesn’t even know you? Unless of course you intentionally hurt him (like hitting him on the head) so that he would notice you.

3. It is not expensive. In a one-sided love, you don’t have to spend money. It is not required for you to give gifts or celebrate birthdays and anniversaries together. Of course, you also don’t share the date expenses because you don’t even date.

4. It makes you goal-oriented. Because of your hopes that someday he/she would notice you, you become more determined to fulfill that goal. You do all your best and give it your all. Little by little you are not aware that you are transforming into a better person all because of one-side love.

5. It teaches you to be selfless. When you know that the one you love can’t love you back, you still continue loving without expecting anything in return. You started to content yourself just by looking at him and feeling his presence around you. You are satisfied by simply just being near him.

6. It is always challenging. To hide your feelings then one day be able to pour it all out and be prepared for the outcome. You dream of wonderful things and at the same time you also ready yourself for pain and rejection.

7. It strengthens one’s faith. That there is always hope. That there could be miracles. You then pray everyday. That one day he will love you even just half of how much you love him.
