Finally! After months of long wait, the 2008 World Pyro Olympics schedule has been finalized. At last, we can now view those fireworks as they sparkle in the skies.
In every Saturday, two countries will be lighting up the skies as they showcase their magnificent fireworks. Countries that will be competing in the event are: Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, and Venezuela. The host country, Philippines, is not included and will only be doing an exhibition.
Here’s the schedule:
May 3, 2008 - China and Germany
May 10,2008 - Canada and France
May 17, 2008 - Italy and Venezuela
May 24, 2008 - Fellowship of Fire . A collaboration of all countries with the Philippines (La Mancha Pyro Productions representing the Philippines with a Pyromusical show exihibition)

Usually, the fireworks display starts at 6pm and every participating country is given only 20 minutes (20mins.) for the show. The World Pyro Olympics will still be held at the Esplanade behind SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.
