Kaya naman if I were you, hanap na kayo ng kopya nyo.

Hanggang Kailan

HANGGANG KAILAN

(Orange and Lemons)

Labis na naiinip
Nayayamot sa bawat saglit
Kapag naaalala ka
Wala naman akong
magawa

[Refrain]
Umuwi ka na baby
Hindi na ako sanay ng wala ka
Mahirap ang mag-isa
At sa gabi’y hinahanap-hanap
kita.

[Chorus]
Hanggang kailan ako maghihintay
Na makasama ka muli
Sa buhay kong puno ng paghihirap
Na tanging ikaw lang ang
Pumapawi sa mga luha
At naglalagay ng ngiti
sa mga labi

‘Di mapigilang mag-isip
Na baka sa tagal
Mahulog ang loob mo sa iba
Nakakabalisa, knock on wood
‘Wag naman sana

[Repeat Refrain & Chorus]

Umuwi ka na baby…
Umuwi ka na baby…
Umuwi ka na baby…

Umuwi ka na baby…
Umuwi ka na baby…
Umuwi ka na baby…

Strong Enough

STRONG ENOUGH

(Sheryl Crow)

God, I feel like hell tonight
Tears of rage I cannot fight
I’d be the last to help you understand
Are you strong enough to be my man?

Nothing’s true and nothing’s right
So let me be alone tonight
Cause you can’t change the way I am
Are you strong enough to be my man?

Lie to me
I promise I’ll believe
Lie to me
But please don’t leave

I have a face I cannot show
I make the rules up as I go
It’s try and love me if you can
Are you strong enough to be my man?

When I’ve shown you that I just don’t care
When I’m throwing punches in the air
When I’m broken down and I can’t stand
Will you be strong enough to be my man?

Lie to me
I promise I’ll believe
Lie to me
But please don’t leave

Announcement: New Categories for Music Lovers

Hey there!

Since I have realized that I’m becoming in love with music these days and find myself humming a tune or two, I thought of adding some new categories in this blog.

A new category LSS (Last Song Syndrome) will be added with two sub-categories namely Strictly OPM and Foreign Tunes. Why LSS? Well, that’s what usually happens to me when I hear a song that gets me into singing. I won’t stop the whole day like a broken record or like my boss who can’t get over that “I feeeel yoooou Johanna” thing. It’s something from Sweeney Todd movie , you know.

Anyway, the new categories will be providing you with lyrics of the songs that gave me the LSS.  So, don’t expect that much for your playlist to be here. Coz, I’ll just be placing songs based on how I reacted on them. Then I’ll give a background or something why. And by the way, I might put some MTV too.

That’s it for now. Gotta work. Ciao! :D

Manila Ocean Park opens this February

(Reference: The Manila Ocean Park website and Inquirer.net)

After the long wait, officials of the Manila Ocean Park has finally announced that it would be opening next month, February. This must be in time for those who want to have an underwater celebration of  Valentines Day.

The Manila Ocean Park will be the country’s first marine themed complex and it’s oceanarium is assumed to be the largest ever in Asia. It is located behind the Quirino Grandstand at Luneta. A very good spot since it is very accessible for those who are strolling along Intramuros and Rizal Park.

sitemap

The much-talked about oceanarium of the park is divided into seven parts. The Agos (Flow) is an artificial waterfall that has eight different tanks displaying a variety of marine flora and fauna. Next stop is the Bahura (Reef), which  will be featuring the magnificent Philippine underwater rainforest. Containing four big different aquariums, Laot (Fishing Ground) on the other hand, will be exhibiting an assortment of fish in all sizes and colors.  And, if you want to experience the feeling of Israelites passing by the Red Sea, the Buhay na Karagatan (Living Ocean) is for you. You will be enjoying a 25-meter trip strolling along the underwater tunnel full of interacting marine creatures.

A glimpse of the Oceanarium

While for those of you who haven’t met the Barracuda or the “Tiger of the Sea,” you will be able to see it face to face in Ang Kalaliman (The Deep). Be amazed at its size and compare your smile with its well-known toothy grin. The next part of the oceanarium is quite similar to the Buhay na Karagatan, you will also be walking beneath sea creatures in the Overhang Tank. You might probably also get tired looking up at them and marveling at their beauty. The last part of the oceanarium might leave you awestruck as you watch and gasp at the large sharks you’ll encounter in Pating (Shark).

All the marine species that will be seen in the oceanarium are taken from the Philippine waters. This only proves that our country is truly the center of marine biodiversity.

Well, the Manila Ocean Park is not only about the Oceanarium. As you have seen in the site map, it also has two Open Marine Habitats where you could go diving and snorkeling. In fact, there’s also a mall for those who love shopping and can’t get enough for it. And, also a concourse plaza for events and concerts.

Admission for the Oceanarium costs P350.00(php)kids and P400.00(php) for adults. I guess educational trips, package trips have discounts. For these inquiries and more,  just visit the Manila Ocean Park website (click the link above).

This P1-billion project is all thanks to China Oceanis Philippines Inc., a subsidiary of China Oceanis Inc. Without their brilliant idea of establishing the park in the country, we would still be spending lots of money to go abroad just to experience and witness scenes of the underwater life. China Oceanis Inc. is the same Singaporean-registered firm that operates four oceanariums in China.

Whew! Now I have every reason to be seen near Luneta again. hahaha.. I definitely should check this place out.

To start on Feb. 16, Saturday, this event is perfect for a romantic date. You could have dinner at the SM Mall of Asia and watch the fireworks after. But, if you won’t be able to do this on the 16th then let me give you the schedule… After all, you can still plan for another date. SM Mall of Asia
